I’ve done this one before, but that was 7 months ago!
So here’s the challenge you get a 4Car Garage. No budget, but the only rule is you can only have what’s posted on the first page of your most local CL, or Kijijikiji, or whatever your nations equivalent. For me that means Nothern Wi CL. I was hoping to use Duluth but per my own made up rules that’s cheating
First of MUH TRUCK. this great looking Dodge crew cab.I’m going to need a truck some day, and this one looks awesome.
For Daily duty I’d go with this Linclon MKVII. Always liked the way these look,
Last the only interesting manual car I could find. a 350Z vert which has skick on chrome bits, and ugly rims, because of coarse it does. Also a salvage title...
and my last car is this big Dodge. My Dad grew up in one of these. he drove it as a teenager. He love to tell a story about the time the brakes went out so to stop it he just put it into reverse. Its also in my home town.

Daily Driver
Project/Weekend Warrior...this is so cool
I didn’t see a budget and somehow this is on the first page right now so second fun car
And of course a heavy hauler

This makes me look like I prefer white cars, which I don’t, but pickings for interesting stuff were slim on Chicago CL’s first page.
This rare GMT-800 with a manual trans is actually the only one of these that isn’t a CP price, and because I have cheap trashy taste, is actually the one I want most of all.

This sounds like fun. I’m taking cost as no object quite literally. I don’t have the money for maintenance on some of these!

2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT SUV
I felt like I should have a slightly more useful vehicle, and the Suburban seemed like a better choice than a Cube or full-sized van. I would have loved a smaller (and nicer) SUV, but this big guy will have to do.

that GMC is cool. I like that Mercury too.

The Plymouth is so ZZ Top it isnt funny.

I wasn’t given choices that equated to the format of DD etc. A vehicle for every season didn’t happen either. I did manage a manual something with an actual hand brake!

Taking a lunchtime cruise on page 1 made me realize how truck focused the market really is. Everything from old rangers to freightliners. Not much good handling stuff to be found.
If pressed though
And the lone miata without a picture
Or maybe the ML350 if i needed a reasonable daily.

that Kustom is awesome. I can’t tell what it is bu thats kind of the piont.
same here, trucks a plenty, nothing fun, and bout 3 manual transmissions . which is why I had to go with the “wouldn’t touch it with a 10ft pole” 350Z.

MUH TRUCK
My daily
My project car:
And my 4th
Ugh being limited to the first page sucked. I know it looks like I’m a fan of Chevy, which I am but I would’ve chosen other brands of there would’ve been anything else decent in my mind. So aggravating that I can't use the Twin Cities.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:32 |

that Frieghtliner would be perfect for a tucker who has two kids, and a wife who want to come along for the ride, and home school the kids. That actually sounds like a lot of fun
that Bronco is awesome.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:35 |

I’m in the same boat, if I used Minneapolis or even Duluth my results would be a lot cooler.
also the El Camino is freaking awesome. I like that Firebird a lot too.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:35 |

Crazy to me you don’t need a CDL to drive that thing. Also like that its a “sport” chassis.
Ya the bronco is pretty sweet.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:36 |

I am way more excited about the El Camino than I am the Firebird. I would've preferred the previous generation but I am partial to it.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:37 |

I think you’ d need a CDL if you actually wanted to haul anything with it.

Nice!
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:38 |

I am shocked that I found any of this stuff, actually. I don’t live in an area where I see interesting cars daily, except at one local specialty auto shop. Well, the jeep I’m not shocked. Imagine showing up to drop off my kids at preschool in that? I mean, it’s probably not road legal but whatever. Who needs roads.

Bold statement with that Chieftain.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:40 |

It was either that or a Chevy Bel Air. I figured might as well go bold.

Super jelly that your in the Twin Cities for this.

Looks pretty strong. I’d swap the Jag for something else, but looks like a solid group.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 13:58 |

I like the Mercury too, but I think it’s worth about half the asking price.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 14:01 |

oh yeah absolutely. 10k i s crazy money for that.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 14:05 |

It was either the jag or a new Mazda 6. I would have gone Mazda 6 if it was a signature.
I didn't really have many choices on the 1st page

Alright, so, the first page of my local Marketplace (craigslist type of page):

I’d eventually swap the E30 to a manual of course

Same with the corvair. I used to own one and can’t wait for another someday to build

52 ford with custom panels and a flathead v8 if the ad is to be believed.
Amost identical in price to the F450 and the challenger
The miata is such an unknown aside from the mileage
![]() 10/16/2018 at 15:36 |

Sounds like they are asking too much for the little red hot rod. But it’s hard to put a price on something custom, or Kustom in this case.
![]() 10/16/2018 at 15:51 |

‘96 F-250, 7.3 Powerstroke, 5 speed manual, crew cab long bed.
Porsche 944
‘68 Dodge
Jeep TJ
This was harder than I thought, and not because of a lack of selection. It took a lot of effort not to fill my list with cool pickups, such as the reg cab long bed mint ‘98 GMC with a 454, a reg cab long bed Duramax, or the ‘75 crew cab dodge.
There were a few surprises on the first page two, there’s not one, but two Neon SRT-4's, and a plain neon, a ‘28 Chevy, and 3 school buses.

Wait a sec, that G35 is only $6100 and has 142k on it. Someone should buy that.
